About Bearded Buddys (Pty) Ltd

Established in 2023 in Nigel, Gauteng, Bearded Buddys (Pty) Ltd relocated to Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal in 2024. Founded by Rico van Deventer, a passionate herpetoculturist with years of hands-on experience in the reptile community.

What started as a personal passion for bearded dragons and exotic reptiles quickly evolved into a mission — to provide fellow reptile enthusiasts across South Africa with access to premium, quality reptile supplies at fair prices.

We understand that keeping reptiles isn't just a hobby — it's a commitment to providing the best possible environment for these incredible creatures. That's why every product we stock has been carefully vetted and sourced from trusted suppliers.
